Privacy and Cookie Policy
Last updated: 13 August 2026
This policy explains how ELECTIO processes personal data collected when you use the ProvenceFrance.
1. Data controller
The data controller is ELECTIO, a French simplified joint-stock company (SAS) with share capital of €1,000, whose registered office is located at 134 rue d’Astion, 84120 Pertuis, France (SIREN 978 025 799).
For any questions or to exercise your rights, please use the Contact page and enter “Personal data” in the subject line.
2. Data processed
Depending on how you use the website, ELECTIO may process the following categories of data:
- Contact form: name, email address, subject and message content;
- Browsing and audience measurement: tracker identifiers, pages viewed, browsing events, browser and device characteristics, IP address processed for technical purposes and approximate location;
- Security and operation: technical logs required for website security, diagnostics and availability.
ProvenceFrance does not collect any payment data and does not record bookings directly on this website.
3. Purposes
- Responding to requests received through the form: processing questions, suggestions, partnership enquiries or pre-contractual requests;
- Ensuring website security and proper operation: preventing abuse, diagnosing incidents and maintaining the service;
- Measuring the audience and improving content: understanding website traffic and the content viewed.
Contact requests are processed on the basis of ELECTIO’s legitimate interest in responding to messages or, when a request concerns a service, in order to take pre-contractual steps at your request. Audience measurement using trackers that are not strictly necessary normally requires the user’s consent.
4. Recipients and service providers
Data is accessible only to authorised persons within ELECTIO and, to the extent required for their work, to its technical service providers:
- OVH SAS, for website hosting;
- Google, for receiving messages sent to ELECTIO and for audience measurement using Site Kit / Google Analytics;
- technical service providers engaged occasionally for website maintenance and security.
ELECTIO does not sell personal data collected through ProvenceFrance.
5. Retention periods
- Contact messages: for the time required to process the request, then for a maximum of three years from the last active contact when they concern a potential business relationship, unless a legal obligation or evidentiary requirement applies;
- Technical logs: for the period strictly required for security and diagnostics, depending on the nature of the log and the host’s settings;
- Audience measurement data: according to the settings applied in Google Analytics and within the limits laid down by applicable regulations.
6. Cookies and other trackers
The website uses trackers required for its operation as well as Google Analytics / Site Kit to measure its audience. Under the website’s current configuration, the Google tag may load automatically when pages are viewed.
You can restrict, block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain trackers may affect the operation of third-party services without preventing access to ProvenceFrance’s editorial content.
7. Links to Electio bookings
Some buttons and links direct users to the Electio booking service. Simply displaying a link does not transmit to ProvenceFrance the data entered on the booking platform. When you access this service, its own privacy information and terms apply.
8. Transfers outside the European Economic Area
Some service providers, including Google, may process data from countries outside the European Economic Area. In such cases, transfers are governed by mechanisms recognised under European law, such as an adequacy decision or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses, depending on the service provider’s situation.
9. Your rights
Under the conditions laid down by applicable regulations, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and, where applicable, portability. Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.
To exercise your rights, contact ELECTIO via the Contact page. Proof of identity may be requested only where there is reasonable doubt about your identity.
If, after contacting ELECTIO, you believe that your rights have not been respected, you may lodge a complaint with the CNIL.
10. Security
ELECTIO implements reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect data against unauthorised access, loss, alteration or disclosure.
11. Policy updates
This policy may be amended to reflect legal, technical or functional changes. The date of the latest update appears at the top of the page.
